A decade in financial services taught me that the most valuable engineering isn’t about clever code—it’s about understanding what humans shouldn’t have to do manually, then building systems that free them to think.
What I Do Now
I build AI that actually ships. Not proof-of-concepts that die in staging, but production systems that handle real workloads—AI agents that talk to customers over voice, SMS, chat, and web with tool calling and RAG context, workflow automation, data pipelines. What started as service work has become a product: the patterns I developed at JPMorgan and BNY now power the applications I run on DigitalOcean. Every layer is mine: infrastructure, monitoring, deployment, the whole stack.
What I’ve learned: the best AI systems are invisible. Users don’t think about the RAG architecture or the n8n workflows—they just get answers that work.

Where I’ve Been
BNY Mellon — VP Information Security Analyst
Security monitoring was mostly reactive: dashboards nobody watched, metrics nobody fully trusted. I built the Python ETL and pipelines that turned raw control data into reporting the risk teams and executives used. The team stopped checking boxes and started catching problems.
HSBC — Analytics Associate
A lot of the work was ritual: the same reports, the same manual checks, 15+ hours a week that added nothing. I built Alteryx workflows that automated the business-as-usual processes and handed the time back. The team spent those hours on real problems instead of report runs.
JPMorgan Chase — Data Scientist/Engineer & Infrastructure Engineer
Joined as a data scientist, discovered I was really a data engineer. The bottleneck was never the analysis, it was getting clean data to the people doing it. I did most of the data engineering: pulled the records, extracted text from thousands of PDFs, and reached for multithreading when the volume got out of hand. On the exit-survey project that pipeline fed the team’s NLP analysis of why people were leaving. I built the plumbing and learned the modeling alongside them.
Acadaca — Security Operations Intern
First taste of offensive security. Conducted penetration tests and wrote reports that changed how clients thought about their infrastructure. Learned that vulnerability isn’t about technology—it’s about assumptions. The most dangerous bugs are the ones nobody thinks to look for.
ReadyGraph — Developer Intern
Solved customer tickets and fixed WordPress bugs. Not glamorous, but formative. Learned that the gap between “it works on my machine” and “it works for users” is where most software dies.
Globe Language Services — IT Administrator
My first real job: the entire company’s IT, all by myself. Designed and ran the Windows Server environment and handled everything that broke. When something breaks and you’re the whole IT department, there’s no escalation path. You just fix it.
