JPMorgan Chase — Data Scientist/Engineer
Moved onto the data science team at JPMorgan and found my real strength was upstream of the models: getting clean, usable data to the people building them. I did most of the data engineering, pulling records, extracting text from thousands of PDFs, and reaching for Python multithreading when the volume got out of hand.
On the employee exit-survey project that pipeline fed the team’s NLP analysis of why people were actually leaving, and it surfaced things the raw surveys had buried. I built the plumbing and learned the modeling alongside my teammates. The analysis is only as good as the data reaching it.
