Analytics Associate at HSBC Commercial Banking. A lot of the work was ritual: the same reports, the same manual checks, 15+ hours a week that added nothing. I built Alteryx workflows that automated the business-as-usual processes and handed the time back.
What mattered was what the team did with the hours: real problems instead of report runs. That’s when automation clicked for me. Less a productivity tool, more a permission slip.
